Snippet of Article: "...The defendant, Alexander Dockery was indicted by a federal grand jury on January 24, 2023, for COUNT ONE: [18 U.S.C. § 1703(a)] delay or destruction of mail or newspapers. Between June 1, 2018, and November 30, 2018, in Madison County, within the Northern District of Alabama, the defendant, being an employee of the United States Postal Service, that is a mail handler at the General Mail Facility in Huntsville, Alabama, did knowingly and unlawfully secrete, destroy, detain and delay letters, postal cards, packages, and mail entrusted to him and which came into his possession and which were intended to be conveyed by mail, carried and delivered as established by authority of the Postmaster General. ..."
