New Yorkers Need to Vote 'NO' on Creepy Proposition 1 (Prop 1) That Alters State Constitution Negatively | Protect Our Females, Vote 'NO' to Prop 1

Lawmakers sound alarm over Proposition 1

The lawmakers wrote that separate women’s sports have been protected by federal law for more than 50 years through Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Biological boys could take limited spots on girls’ teams and even potential college scholarships, they argue.

The amendment replaces “his or her” with “their,” the lawmakers wrote. If approved, they are concerned Prop 1 will provide biological males “expressing” or “identifying” as female a constitutional right to use women’s bathrooms, locker rooms and showers.
